19th Century Billiard Room

Original Oak Floor Refitting

The owner of this 19th Century Oak Billiard Room approached Vincent Reed to lift the original Oak Flooring and then to reinstate once a underfloor heating system had been installed. Each board was numbered, lifted in sequence and removed from site. The modern finish was stripped back by hand and the flooring was dried in a kiln to reduce the moisture content and prevent shrinkage from the underfloor heating system.
